Sowing Method:
Start indoors 8–10 weeks before last frost. Optional: soak seeds 8–12 hours before sowing.
Sow 1/4 in (6 mm) deep in sterile mix; keep evenly moist. Maintain 70–80°F (21–27°C).
Germination in 10–21 days. Provide strong light and good airflow.
Transplant after frost into fertile, well-drained soil; space 30–36 in (75–90 cm). Full sun.
For earlier budding, expose young plants to cool temps (45–55°F / 7–13°C) for 10–14 days after hardening off.
